Birzebbugia Tigers 2006 Summer Tournament came to an end today with the final between Oxfords and Southsiders, incidentally the two teams who opened this tournament three weeks ago. Oxfords had the better of their opponents with a 5-2 win which matured in extra time after a 2-2 stalemate in normal time. Liam Cutajar was Oxfords' hero when he netted a hat-trick with the two other goals coming from Ludvic Camilleri. Silvio Mifsud scored a brace for Southsiders. After the match, Tigers' president, George Francalanza presented the trophies to winners and finalists.
