TIGERS TO BEGIN CAMPAIGN AGAINST FLORIANA AJAX

Birzebbugia Tigers' first opponents were known yesterday, when the fixtures for the 1st Division of the Inter Amateur Soccer Competition were compiled during the first IASC council meeting for the forthcoming season.

The Tigers will make their debut on the 16th of October 2005 when they face Floriana Ajax. This will be the second time that the Tigers will play in their initial match against the Greens, after the 3-2 win in the first match of the 2003/04 season. For the record, this will be the eight encounter against Floriana Ajax in the history of our club, with the Tigers clearly gaining head over our opponents with 5 wins, 1 draw, and only one defeat. Let's hope that the good tradition continues....
