RECEPTION HELD AT A LOCAL RESTAURANT ON

6 OCTOBER 2005

Thursday 6th October 2005, marked the first step of our club towards the new season awaiting ahead, when players were gathered for a reception, held at a restaurant in Birzebbugia. Old faces mingled with new-signed players and members of the committee for this event held just a few days away from the first match of the season.

During this evening, club's president, Mr George Francalanza, made clear the club's objective for this campaign, that of winning a major honour, also pinpointing the fact that as the frontrunners of the 1st division all had a slumpy start to their season, our team must take this advantage and gain head from the start. At the end of his speech, the President introduced the new coach for this season, Stefan Schwienbacher. This will be the german's first experience as coach after playing 52 games with the Tigers
